The new doctoral regulations involve some changes and improvements:

• Mandatory registration and application for admission at the beginning of the doctoral project.
• Initiation of the doctorate procedure (on submission of your thesis) only possible after admission.
• Mandatory submission of the thesis in machine-readable form.
• Uniform documents required for admission (Section 8 RPromO and Section 8 FPromO) and initiation of the doctoral procedure (Section 9 RPromO and Section 9 FPromO).
• New personalised forms (with declarations and required documents) available for download after login in the online registration portal for doctoral candidates, docDaten.
• Monitoring of the progress of all administrative matters in the doctorate procedure after login at docDaten.

Please regard the information for all who have been admitted before 22 January 2013 or those who are about to apply for initiation of the doctorate procedure (on submission of their theses)  in January 2013.
